Isaac Balban has been an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God for nearly a decade. He’s served across the spectrum of staff positions, ranging from Next Gen Pastor to Executive Pastor. He is currently serving as lead Pastor in Central Pennsylvania.
So, you might ask, what makes Isaac & Balban Consulting Group qualified to help me with my people management problems? In addition to pastoring, Isaac also holds an MBA in human resources from Waynesburg University. He spent time serving as the Director of HR at North Way Christian Community, a multi-site church in Pittsburgh. It’s this unique combination of pastoral education & experience, coupled with business acumen and expertise that sets BCG apart from the rest.
Other HR consulting firms focus on making sure your policies are pretty and you’re in compliance (all important things-we do that too!), but use fear and a pastoral team’s lack of business experience to drive sales. This leaves you with a handbook or policy manual that cost a pretty penny, but no idea what to do next to actually bring about change in your team. You could ask those consultants, but their lack of experience in the pastoral seat will leave them to answer your questions with only corporate jargon.
